Program Director’s Report: Tootsie Roll Drive will begin on Friday, October 12 and end on Sunday, October 14.

Youth Director’s Report: Sunday, October 21st, Soccer Challenge at Hayden (10 – 14 boys & girls) at set up at 12:30, start competition at 1 p.m., 5 – 8 guys, Mrs. Hilbert ran it in; need copy of birth certificate; there’s a state-level competition;

Field Agent’s Report: Nick spoke on behalf of the Field Agent

 

Unfinished Business:

 

·        Thanks to guys who helped out with Parish Picnic, and Coffee, Doughnuts & Juice Social

·        November Pancake b-fast will be November 18th

·        Altar server recognition ideas: Fun night (Darts, free throw contest) and chili supper – Nick will chair committee on Altar server recognition

 

New Business:

·        In upcoming bulletin, events, activities will be listed

·        Lloyd’s wife, J.C. poker table at Bazaar – any volunteers for this position (noon – 4 p.m.), J.C. has decks (4), 3 people for every 2-hour shift; Bazaar is 11/4

·        Motioned and Seconded to buy a ticket for Religious Ed.

 

4th Degree Report: Fr. Balla will receive gavel to take back to India; Mother Theresa’s , Living Rosary on Oct. 24th @ 7 p.m. at Christ the King; Border roar between KS and MO (Families and Knights), Tower in the Shrine; Christmas 12/15, $12 or $25 per couple, chicken or steak, due by 12/15, formal dress 5:30 social, 6:30 dinner, sacred heart, money goes to Dick Walsh.

 

District Deputy’s Report: In good standings; membership, Oct. 14th major degree at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Guadalupe (estimating 20 – 30); 10/21 is another major degree coming up; one coming up in November; 10/25 is deadline for religious ed tickets; 11/1 submit checks and report for tootsie roll; 11/1 deadline for freethrow contest; October is membership month – 5 phases for successful blitz.
